That's the keyword Arc, fleets. It'd take a fleet of ships just to take down an adult krystalsaurus (or whatever we decide to call it), and even then it's no guarantee that the fleet would be victorious

If we say there's a source for them it better be impossible to re-create the process that makes the crystals. We don't want people to be capable of making legitimate Manarak. Now, we could have synthetic manarak that has its own properties...that could be interesting.

I dunno. We can come up with it later on when we need it to be a plot device of some kind. I guess its most common usage could be a common, but shorter-term power source than manarak. We seriously shouldn't expect manarak to be so common as to be used for everything, that would take away from its value and make hunting animals for their manarak less appealing.

I really dunno about Star and Dark manarak though...I mean it would have a pretty limited usage. Sure mages would have great use for it, but 99% of the population would have no use for amplifying the power of magic they could not use to begin with.

Yeah, sure. It doesn't sound like it'd make much of an impact but at least it adds more depth to the story and therefore gives us more to work with. Who knows, maybe we can make a plot element out of it later.

I propose that with each usage a Sun/Dark crystal loses a portion of its charge, making it necessary for a person to have a supply of crystals on their person. Plus limited usage increases demand, making the crystals themselves more valuable. Maybe a user could become addicted to them just to make things a little more interesting.

With the crystals fresh off the beast's back not losing its charge at all, which makes them super valuable but too dangerous due to how powerful they are

ok, let's talk more about planet names now

now, irl, planets out in the universe are named after their stars, and with a secondary classification. like "Arcturus B" or something, so we should also keep names of stars in mind

The original idea was that we remake our characters with different appearances and personalities. Essentially we'd be making new characters but they'd keep the same name as our old characters. They can be as similar as you want them to be to your old ones, but make them distinguishable from the originals.

I guess the main planet could be Urson Major, or something like that.
